No people, no nation, no culture, neither land nor sea...nothing persists unchanged through the ages. No nation is as it ever was, for time is the most unyielding force in all the cosmos, and it is time which ultimately conquers all.

Many nations have come to encroach on the wildlands of the Ardonian continent, and many have since crumbled into dust. But whence came they, and how? Read further, and mark well the rise and fall of kingdoms and nations, for what once came about may yet come again. And only those versed in history may prevent such recurrences...or may instead bring those recurrences about.
