Well, the fireworks were cool. Mom and Dad's lake has a little outcropping (or a peninsula, as Mom calls it), and I was the one who had to run out there, light the fireworks and run back because apparently I'm the only one who can run worth a damn. The fireworks almost caught me once or twice, but that's okay.

We had some pretty big Sky Shooters.

While I honestly cannot complain about my life, I am sooo glad to have 2014 in the rear view mirror. 14 sucked and might very well have been the worst years of my life. Let's go 15!!

Greetings everyone and now it time for my 2014 year end update.  2014 wasn't a totally sucky year for me.  I admit the year started out crappy when I got fired by that douchebag of a store manager at Target.  The fact that my son got into a fight with a Ford F-150 while trying to cross the street and broke his leg pretty bad didn't help matters either (He's still in physical therapy over that one too.)  On the plus side I did find a new job that I am much happier in.  I do half the work of my old job with more pay.  Sure there are days that I don want to be there, but not nearly as many as Target which was about every day.

So in the end I came out about even for 2014.  Hopefully 2015 will be a better year for all of us.  Still hoping that we can get together for BBFQ at Drakon's place in the future.
