| Well, we'll always have next week.... Last night gave me time to tinker with a few Gametable-related things, and Wraith and GD were there to give me feedback for a Big Idea or two. So Gametable now has a a pair of "Bound" status pogs, medium and large (for characters or monsters who are chained up, tied up, manacled to a wall or otherwise rendered helpless through bodily bindings). I also cooked up an anvil pog (for any decent smithy) and some rough stone floors (sizes: Small, Medium, Large, Huge and Gargantuan, for cave and mine interiors), and I'm presently working on a new "Locked" status pog for doors, gates, chests and such. I also plan on making a few more Trap overlays, as soon as I can think of more varieties of traps. Come to think of it, I wonder if I need to come up with something to denote a moving wall. The crushing walls trap is an oldie but goodie, and a small section of ceiling that pops open to allow seawater to rush in and fill the room is a more contemporary yet no less lethal kind of surprise.... Who else has some nice ideas for me to hammer out after I'm done with these much-delayed prologues? I'm all ears. | |

| I have no idea what you two are talking about now.... Anyhoo, I won't be able to do Gametable this weekend, seeing as I have play rehearsals this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Christmas plays are a pain like that. And I'd better not choke on my lines while the camera's recording like I did last year, either. Off to work I go...again. On a car that's presently running on only three cylinders. I hope it's just a bad spark plug...something else I'll have to settle Friday. Lovely week I'm having here. Anyway, toodles for now. And check the Common Room! | |

| Sorry guys. Gametable is out for me for the foreseeable future, or at least until I find out a better schedule or we come up with something to work around it. I current work from 9 - about 5ish. I have two days a week off, when I get the apprenticeship that'll bump to three days a week with one of those being TAFE.
Anyhoo, sorry guys, but work calls.
Lets see if we can work something out, hmmm?

| Aw. That's understandable, though; you have to make the rent somehow, right?
So what times do you normally have off work now? Perhaps we can still find some common ground here.

| Its not a predictable schedule. I'll know about two week before hand as its a three weekly roster. But it looks like I'll always be on during the weekends. So sunday is probably out.
But I might be able to do Monday. Next monday isn't good, but the monday after I'm free to be honest.

| Okay, I'm working on having monday free. How's everyone's holiday season going?
So about the usual time (11am my time) I'll get on and cruise around and see if anyone's on. If not, I'll try to get a message on here to tell you I'm not coming.

| So...we seem to be gelling another Gametable session together for tonight. Perhaps we could shoot for this time: 3:00 AM Sunday, Greenwich 7:00 PM Saturday, Central (Ainsley and SEAMUS) 6:00 PM Saturday, Mountain (GD) 12:00 PM Sunday, Sydney (Wraith and Shadow, if she ever wants to drag him back to the forums to say hello....) Would this work for everyone? We can nudge the kick-off time up or down as needed, I'm sure. As for Corwin: being an Ainsley skeleton requires no investment of Levels in any undead racial Class; aside from a few new strengths, weaknesses and other adjustments, skeletons operate pretty much the same as their originating race (Human, in Corwin's case). But since wights have a more drastic way of evolution and hence merit their own racial Class (meaning that Corwin, as a wight, can keep "leveling up" and eventually become an elder wight or wight lord, considerably more powerful than a typical wight), we must either remove one of Corwin's Levels--in Cleric or Fighter--and replace it with a Level in Wight, or treat Corwin as being a generic undead character until he gains a Level and the "Wight Fever" suddenly takes hold...just for the purposes of Gametable. Option #3 is where I recognize that the Gametable scenario takes some place in the forum campaign's future--and in the future all characters in our party will certainly gain in power and Level, barring an untimely demise--so I give the entire party an extra Level (Gametableside, not forumside) so Corwin gets his Wight level and Karnoz and Sylvea can level up in Rogue or Cleric or Bard or any eligible Prestige Class or whatever, increase the difficulty of the Tinstone Warrens encounters accordingly (from the current pirate-and-harpy battle onward) and do it that way. (Whether or not you peeps will give the forum versions of your characters the same Skills and Feats as their Gametable-based "future clones" upon reaching Level 6...well, yes, you probably should. Think of this option as a "placeholder" option for your character's sixth Level in the forum campaign. But if something comes up in the forum campaign that makes you realize, "Well, shoot...maybe upon reaching Level 6 I should have put those 2 Skill points into Wilderness Lore instead of Profession: Teamster after all...", well, I'm not going to stop you, you continuity-breaking hoochie fiend you.... ) So what'll it be, mates? | |

| Sorry but I did tell you guys that this sunday was out for me cos I got called in to work. (hence the whole debate about whether you guys could come on Monday morning (US)....) Next sunday night would be okay for me. That would make it say... 8pm Sunday for me 3pm Saturday (SEAMUS, Ainsley) 2pm Saturday (GD) I hope I have that right..... *waits for Ainsley to come along and figure it out * | |

| 3 PM next Saturday? I think I can make that.
I was wondering why I never saw you log on, though. GD did (sometime after I'd waited, gotten bored, nodded off and gone to bed), then SEAMUS did. At least I got to tinker around with the criiter treasure a little, though.
And I have no idea what a barrow wight would be in D&D. Maybe some kind of lich, or a demilich with its body still following it around somehow.
D&D wights are a bit wrinkly, though; they have a gaunt appearance, kind of like their skin stayed the same size but everything inside that skin shrunk a little bit...like you might expect from a corpse whose soul got sucked out and replaced with a psychic vacuum. (Coincidentally enough, people who have been frozen solid and thawed out tend to have a similar appearance, thanks to all the microscopic water expansion and bursting of body cells. Icky.)
But I'll try softening the forehead line some more, if you want. Or maybe I'll remove it completely and make the cheeks look a little more sunken instead. Whadayathink?
